Donuts and Coffee

There’s more to law enforcement then just protecting innocent citizens. They have their daily routine of driving over the speed limit and eating donuts with coffee.
Driving 50 km\h is the law, for a reason. Did you know that the speed limit through town is 50 km\h because it is the highest speed a child can be hit at and still live? But our police force seems to flash by, always on a mission of course, donuts and coffee.
Don’t despair they do their job of ticketing rowdy, wild and uncontrollable citizens, speeding down and throughout Penticton’s streets. All in all keeping everyone reined in.
It isn’t the government or the politicians that control society. It is the power hungry police, who step into their police cars and become unruly drivers, racing to grab the best donut and coffee.

Inside the Not So Dangerous Lives of Teenage Girls

Dr. Sax explains in the article “Inside the Dangerous Empty Lives of Teenage Girls”, that thriving adolescent women are more likely to physically harm themselves then boys. Even though Dr. Sax is a family physician and the founder of the National Association for Single Sex Public Education his statements; young ladies are more likely to harm themselves and only have sex to pleasure boys, is false.

Adolescents strive to be successful in sports, grades and social status. But, Dr. Sax states that “the guys who’s captain of the hockey team … is not secretly cutting himself. But the girl who’s popular ... and doing well in school, is.” This account is extremely disagreeable. Teenage girls may have tendencies to “perform” and seem “fake” but, numerous amounts of young women just live their high school years by a day to day basis, not concerned about what others think. Sax also alleged “A small subset of boys … who have no friends [and] who are ostracized” physically injure themselves. Teenage boys can and are also affected by media and social status not just girls.

Arguments

"You don't need to get all bent out of shape i was simply only fifteen minutes late" while i roll my eyes. "We set a curfew, you be home at that time or before you really drive me up the wall" they sit glaring. "For Pete's sake fifteen minutes isn't that big of a deal". "I've had it up to here" as they lovingly show me there hands over they're heads. You see, my parents like to stress out about every little thing. The tiniest thing i do wrong there will always be hell to pay. Always getting they're panties in a knot. Its really quite stressful for me always fighting like cats and dogs. But, there is give and take in a healthy relationship, even though we might not see eye to eye alot of the time, I do love them and they still love me.

I Can Hear You

I can hear ever thought that runs through your mind. But yet, being able to listen to every ones thoughts sometimes isn't so great as it seems. There are reasons people think of things but not speak them. There are times when I become so intrigued with one beings thoughts that they are all I can hear, and from great distances too. It can become a nuisance at times, makes it hard to concentrate and get my work done. I never asked for this power or wished for it, simply born with it. Sometimes I try to explain my power to people but they just think i'm crazy, and i know for a fact they think that, remember i can hear them. Maybe one day this great burden will go away, but for now im stuck and have to make the most out of life.
